Orrick Public Policy Partner Jeremy Kudon spoke with The Washington Post following the signing into law of a bill that made Virginia the first state to legalize and regulate fantasy sports.
Jeremy represents DraftKings, FanDuel and the Fantasy Sports Trade Association in their efforts to advocate for state legislation that will regulate fantasy sports. He noted, “Passing a bill is really, really, really hard. It's sort of like getting into the hall of fame. There's not a lot of first ballot hall-of-famers.”
