Josh Pollick, a partner in Orrick’s Santa Monica office, is a member of the Technology Companies Group.

Josh represents high growth technology companies and venture capital firms in many areas, including corporate and securities law, corporate formations, venture capital financings, mergers and acquisitions, public offerings and secondary offerings. Legal500 recognizes Josh as a “Next Generation Lawyer” in the area of US venture capital and emerging companies for 2017 and 2018, Super Lawyers recognizes Josh as a “Rising Star” in Business/Corporate for 2016, 2017 and 2018, and Chambers and Partners USA 2018 recognizes Josh as an "Associate to Watch" in the Nationwide Startups & Emerging Companies category.

Josh’s company-side representations include Bellhops, BrightBytes, Captain401, Casetext, Casper, Cloud9, CREXi, Descartes Labs, FabFitFun, Flutterwave, Genius, Jack Erwin, Lendable, Messagebird, Meteor, Monica & Andy, Patch, Phase Four, Romeo Power, Scale, Stripe, Twist Bioscience, WeRecover and uBeam.

In addition to his company-side representations, Josh has represented leading venture capital firms and other strategic investors, including Canal+, Coatue Management, Iris Capital, Menlo Ventures, Pathbreaker Ventures and Wicklow Capital. He has also helped set up a number of incubators and private funds, including Heavybit Industries.

Prior to joining Orrick, Josh was a corporate associate for Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP.
