Alessandra is an associate in Orrick's Houston office and a member of the Energy & Infrastructure Group.

She focuses her practice on domestic and international acquisitions and divestitures, joint ventures, project finance and general corporate matters for clients in the energy sector.

    • Subsidiaries of NOVA Chemicals Corporation and Borealis AG in their Texas joint venture with Total Petrochemicals and Refining USA, Inc. with respect to two existing polyethylene facilities, an under-construction ethane cracker and a development stage Borstar polyethylene facility.
    • A U.S. energy company in the debt financing of a 500 MW natural gas-fired generating facility, located in San Diego County, California, which included both a commercial bank funded facility and the private placement of two tranches of long-term, credit agency rated notes.
    • An international oil and gas company in a divestiture of its interest in a joint venture to develop oil shale assets in Utah.
    • An energy-focused private equity firm in the project financing of a 625 MW, state-of-the-art combined cycle power plant in Arizona.
    • An energy-focused private equity firm in the acquisition of two natural gas-fired power plants in Pennsylvania and Ohio.
    • An international oil and gas company in the sale of a wind power generation facility in California.
    • A private equity fund in connection with its acquisition of Permian and Eagle Ford upstream oil and gas assets.
