Michael (Mike) Rosenberg is a core member of the firm’s Gaming Disputes and Public Policy teams, where he defends gaming companies in state attorney general investigations and is heavily involved in gambling loss recovery litigations and arbitrations. He closely follows and advises on legal and policy developments affecting emerging technologies, including prediction markets, social casino-style products, and sweepstakes offerings.

Mike draws on his experience representing fintech and financial services clients in complex litigation and regulatory matters. He has handled trade secret disputes involving sophisticated software and algorithmic trading strategies, privacy-related class actions, as well as investigations and enforcement matters before federal and state regulators, including the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB).

Prior to joining Orrick, Mike was an associate at Buckley LLP’s Chicago office and practiced at two law firms in New York City.
