Paul Meyer is a member of Orrick's Litigation Group and Supreme Court and Appellate practice.

Before joining Orrick, Paul served as a law clerk to the Honorable Mary H. Murguia of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and to the Honorable Roger L. Gregory of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.

During law school, Paul served as student co-president of the Berkeley Law Foundation and California Asylum Representation Clinic. He was also a fellow at the UC Berkeley Human Rights Center and a member of the Death Penalty Clinic.  

Before law school, Paul was an award-winning newspaper journalist. He is the recipient of the Livingston Award for Young Journalists for national reporting, the Associated Press Managing Editors' International Perspective Award, and the National Association of Hispanic Journalists’ Award for feature writing, among other national honors.
