Foucaud focuses on energy and infrastructure projects across Africa, Europe and the CIS.
His work includes advising governments and state-owned entities, financial institutions, oil and gas companies and sponsors on medium and large-scale investments, with expertise in project finance, public-private partnerships, energy projects, industrial projects and corporate transactions. Foucaud acquired extensive knowledge of business practices and legal strategies in both developed and emerging countries.
Before joining Orrick, Foucaud was an associate in the French and Russian projects departments of a French law firm.
Foucaud has notable experience in the airports sector. He recently advised the Republic of Serbia in the privatization of the Belgrade international airport, as well as Vinci Airports in the acquisition of a global portfolio from OMERS (nine airports and three partial management contracts) and in the ongoing potential concession for seven airports in the Republic of Cape Verde.
