Amaury de Feydeau is a Banking & Finance lawyer based in Orrick's Paris office with a particular focus on project finance, real estate finance, structured finance and restructuring.

He advises arrangers and sponsors on complex infrastructure, PPP, concessions and property portfolio financing transactions, in France and abroad. Amaury is recognized as a leading lawyer in France. According to Chambers & Partners, clients describe him as “creative and a real solution-finder”. He regularly participates in the drafting of complex agreements for the financings of public facilities, notably public buildings and infrastructure, renewable energy projects, power plants and telecom grids. Recently, he has represented Allianz Global Investors, Bayern LB, BTMU and HSBC in the financing of the Cité Musicale on Seguin Island (Paris) which won the MIPIM Award 2015 for Best Futura Project and was the first PPP financed using securitization in France.

Amaury has also a substantial experience in real estate which includes the financing of a variety of complex French and pan-European portfolios and their restructuring. He advises on the financing of the acquisition or the construction and rehabilitation of offices, hotels and commercial buildings, as well as their securitization aspects and restructuring. He has represented arrangers and sponsors such as Benson Eliot, Blackstone, BNP Paribas, Citigroup, Colony, Deutsche Bank AG, Foncière Euris, EuroHypo, HSBC France, Lone Star, Metrovacesa, Natixis, RREEF, SEB, Société Générale, RBS and Westbrook.

Amaury joined Orrick in 2007, after four years with the Real Estate and Finance departments of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.

Amaury de Feydeau is also a visiting lecturer at the business school HEC in Real Estate Finance.

    • Advising the French Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Energy for the new bypass in Marseille, known as the “L2” or the “A507” PFI project;
    • Advising the lenders and bond holders in relation to the financing of the concession agreement relating to the Ports of Calais and Boulogne-Sur-Mer;
    • Advising a NGE-led consortium of industrial companies and financial investors as project participants (and the related project entity as borrower) on the granting of the A150 motorway concession agreement (the latest motorway concession agreement granted in France);
    • Advising the winning consortium led by Eiffage on the restructuring and refurbishment of the Arche de la Défense office tower under a PPP agreement, the first PPP project tendered in France through a new lease and lease back scheme;
    • Advising Allianz Global Investors, Bayern LB, BTMU and HSBC in the financing of the Cité Musicale PFI Project (landmark “first-of-a-kind” securitized PFI transaction);
    • Advising French and international developers and lenders on Private Public Partnerships relating to the rehabilitation or the construction of French university campuses: CentraleSupélec engineers school in Saclay, University of Burgundy, European University of Brittany, University of Bordeaux and University Toulouse II Le Mirail;
    • Advising Bouygues-led consortium of industrial companies and financial investors as project participants (as well as the related project entity as borrower) on the development through a PFI project of the 66,000 sq. m. new building of the Paris Civil Court known as the “TGI de Paris”;
    • Advising the Bouygues-led consortium, comprised of Thales, Exprimm, Sodexo, Dalkia, SEIEF, FIDEPPP and OFI NFRAVIA on the development through a PFI project of the French Ministry of Defence known as the “French Pentagone”;
    • Advising the Bouygues-led consortium of industrial companies and financial investors as project participants (and the related project entity as borrower) on the development of Marseille Vélodrome stadium;
    • Advising the company holding the BEH (long term lease) of the hospital of Saint-Nazaire;
    • Advising Cube Infrastructure on the financing relating to the acquisition of Idex group;
    • Advising Foncière Euris on the financing of the construction, with Apsys, of a shopping mall in Poland;
    • Advising Foncière Euris on the financing of the construction of a retail park and the extension of the shopping mall of the regional shopping center Toulouse-Fenouillet, France.
