In the American Lawyer’s annual Pro Bono Survey of the nation's top 200 firms, Orrick ranked ninth overall - moving up three spots from last year. Orrick’s US lawyers on average contributed more than 100 hours of pro bono work last year and more than 80 percent met or surpassed the 20 hours standard.
"We really focused over the past year on further increasing our already strong participation rate and thus the impact we have," said Rene Kathawala, Orrick's Pro Bono Counsel. "We have set even higher targets for ourselves next year including setting goals in our international offices."
