June.29.2015

In The American Lawyer’s annual Pro Bono Report, Orrick ranked ninth among the nation’s top 200 law firms for the second consecutive year. The firm ranked fifth overall for Breadth of Impact, with 87.7% of our U.S. lawyers contributing at least 20 hours of pro bono service. The firm’s U.S. lawyers on average contributed 95.3 hours of pro bono work during 2014. In addition, Orrick was ranked #15 for international pro bono—moving up five spots from last year.

“Orrick’s commitment to global citizenship is reflected in our pro bono participation,” said Orrick Pro Bono Counsel Rene Kathawala. “We’ve put a real emphasis on doing more in communities around the world, and it’s great to see the difference our teams are making. We are proud of the impact we made last year and have set ourselves even higher goals for 2015, both in the United States and internationally.”
