Orrick has advised ERG on the acquisition from Swiss fund Profond Finanzgesellschaft AG of "Moulins de Fruges SAS", a French company owning six wind farms located in the north of France, for a total installed capacity of 52 MW.
Target wind farms are 100% equity-financed. The acquisition is expected to be finalized in the second quarter of 2019, subject to the approval of the French Ministry of the Economy and Finance.
This acquisition will enable ERG to reach an installed capacity of 360 MW in France, consolidating its position on the French market.
