The Fortune ranking announced today highlights Orrick’s groundbreaking parental leave program, which provides for 22 weeks of paid leave for a primary caregiver, total leave of up to 9 months before returning to work and robust flexible work arrangement options. Orrick also has one of the industry’s most generous staff parental leave programs, providing 14 weeks of paid leave and seven months of job protection for primary caregivers.
Fortune just recently named Orrick to its Best Workplaces for Diversity, and earlier this year selected the firm as one of the 100 Best Companies for work for. Fortune has also named Orrick to its list of 100 Best Workplaces for Millennials, a top 50 Best Workplace for College Graduates and a top 30 Best Workplace to Retire From.
The recognition for parents comes on the heels of similar accolades from Working Mother magazine and Flex-Time Lawyers, which named us one of the “50 Best Law Firms for Women” for the past eight years.
