STEAG, headquartered in Essen, has sold a minority holding of STEAG Power Minerals GmbH to the HAWAR group.
With its numerous subsidiaries and regional partners STEAG Power Minerals is European leader regarding the utilization of power plant by-products for industry and construction industry.
STEAG has been active in energy production for more than 75 years and offers its clients integrated solutions regarding power and heat generation as well as technical services. Key competences are the planning, realization and operation of large-scale power plants and decentralized plants as well as the marketing of electricity based on power plants.
The HAWAR Group invests in global strategic partnerships in the energy, infrastructure and service sector.
STEAG and HAWAR plan to further develop STEAG Power Minerals strategically. A successful Joint Venture between STEAG Power Minerals and HAWAR, HAWAR Power Minerals, already exists today.
