Wheeling, West Virginia – Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP announced today the promotion of Craig Dean to Chief Technology Officer. As Chief Technology Officer, Mr. Dean will lead Orrick’s global IT team and work with the firm’s Technology Committee and Leadership Team to advance Orrick’s IT strategy. He most recently served as Orrick’s IT Director for Firmwide Operations and is based in the firm’s Global Operations Center in Wheeling, West Virginia.
"Over the past three years, Craig has demonstrated a deep understanding of the technology needs of the firm's lawyers and clients, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to execute effectively and efficiently," said Orrick Chairman & CEO Mitch Zuklie. "We are delighted to have his leadership as we continue to adapt our technology platform to support our client service teams and deliver value for our clients."
Orrick also announced that Jun Dailo has been promoted to Director of Global IT Services responsible for IT office operations and the firm’s award-winning Help Desk team.

Mr. Dean is a seasoned IT professional with experience developing strategies, leading teams and managing major projects for Fortune 500 and private companies. He served for seven years with Medrad, Inc. a Bayer Health Care company, ultimately assuming the role of Chief Information Officer. Mr. Dean has also served as a manager and consultant with Perot Systems and Accenture, where he led projects for clients such as HJ Heinz, US Steel and Corning Glass. He earned his MBA, with Honors, from the University of Pittsburgh.
An 18-year Orrick veteran, Mr. Dailo, is based in the firm’s Los Angeles office.
