Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP was honored in three categories at the inaugural U.S. Benchmark Litigation Awards ceremony held on January 31. Orrick was named Appellate Firm of the Year - West and Antitrust Firm of the Year - West, while intellectual property partner Annette Hurst received the Female Litigator of the Year – West award. The practice area awards honor outstanding firms based on the significance and quality of their work during 2012.
Beginning in 2008, Benchmark has published an annual guide to the leading litigation firms and attorneys in the U.S. This first-annual awards ceremony recognized the premier firms and litigators listed in the most recent edition of the publication. Benchmark Litigation is published by Euromoney Legal Media Group, whose other publications include International Financial Law Review, IFLR 1000 and Managing Intellectual Property.
