Nnaemeka K. Anyanwu

Emeka primarily focuses his practice on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity transactions and other general corporate matters.  He represents private equity funds, their portfolio companies and a wide range of public and private entities in complex corporate transactions across various industries. Emeka has also assisted with corporate governance, SEC compliance and disclosure matters.

Prior to joining Orrick, Emeka practiced as a corporate and securities associate in the Houston office of another international law firm. In addition, Emeka previously served as a regulatory law clerk for the Financial Services Roundtable, an advocacy organization for the US financial services industry, and an honors intern in the US Securities and Exchange Commission's Division of Investment Management. He also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Robert R. Rigsby in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.
