Jennifer Jones brings 20 years of litigation practice experience to her role as Practice Manager for the Litigation & IP Business Units.
As Practice Manager for the Litigation and IP Business Units, Jen works closely with Firm, Business Unit, and Practice Group Leaders to support business and operational needs. With the benefit of more than 20 years of litigation practice experience, Jen supports nearly 30% of Orrick associates on work allocation, utilization, performance, mentoring, training, professional development, human resources, and other matters. Jen also helps drive strategic initiatives and goals at the business unit, practice group, and partner level. Jen takes a holistic view of the practice of law and collaborates with numerous departments and resources to promote efficiency, profitability, innovation, diversity, equity & inclusion, and talent retention.
Jen's experience includes:
Union Carbide Corporation, a subsidiary of The Dow Chemical Company. Jen was part of the national counsel team that successfully defended Union Carbide in asbestos litigation nationwide.
EFG Bank and Erste Abwicklungsanstalt. Jen is part of the Orrick team representing EFG in actions against AXA Equitable Life Insurance Company, Transamerica Life Insurance Company, and Lincoln National Life Insurance Company, arising out of their cost of insurance rate increases on universal life insurance policies.
