Tess Liegeois is a member of Orrick's Financial & Securities Litigation Group with substantial experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in high stakes matters.
Tess' experience as a litigator spans the full spectrum of complex, commercial disputes, from securities class actions and shareholder derivative suits to consumer protection and bankruptcy litigation. She assists clients through all aspects of a case, including crafting litigation strategy, drafting pleadings and dispositive motions, taking and defending depositions, and managing large-scale document reviews and productions. She is dedicated to providing her services to those in need, and has successfully represented pro bono clients in immigration proceedings and commercial disputes, and taught mock trial to students in the New York City school system.
Before joining the firm, Tess was an associate at the New York City office of Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP. In her free time, she skis (downhill and cross country), writes novels, and hikes with her partner and dogs.
