Erin Connell Inducted as Fellow of The College of Labor & Employment Lawyers

The College of Labor & Employment Lawyers has elected Orrick partner Erin Connell as a Fellow in recognition of her leadership in high-stakes employment litigation and counseling and her deep knowledge of equal employment opportunity law, pay equity and class action defense.

  • The College is the preeminent body of practitioners and scholars in employment law. Fellows must have at least 20 years in practice, undergo a rigorous peer-review process, and be elected by the Board of Governors in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the field.
  • Erin is an accomplished first-chair trial lawyer. She led the trial team that obtained a complete dismissal for Oracle in OFCCP v. Oracle, the largest pay equity case ever brought by the U.S. Department of Labor, which garnered national media attention and earned her recognition as “Litigator of the Week” by American Lawyer.
  • A trusted advisor, she counsels the nation's leading employers on emerging areas of law, including the intersection of AI and employment, pay equity and Inclusion & Belonging.
  • A member of Orrick’s Management Committee, Erin has been recognized by The Daily Journal as a Top Woman Lawyer and Top Employment Lawyer (2024) and is Chambers-ranked for Labor & Employment.
