Blockchain infrastructure provider and research firm Flashbots has closed a $60M Series B financing round. Orrick advised Flashbots.
Flashbots is a market-leading developer of core blockchain infrastructure and tooling. The company’s products, including MEV-Boost and Flashbots Auction (and MEV-Geth for pre-merge Ethereum), address problems associated with Maximum Extractable Value (MEV) in public blockchains, starting with Ethereum, by increasing transparency of, and democratizing access to, MEV activity and revenue. The company’s in-development SUAVE product would further address the negative externalities associated with MEV.
