1 minute read | June.06.2023

The Investors

Orrick advised three leading venture capital firms in their recent investments in ANYbotics, a company that develops advanced, four-legged robots to conduct industrial inspections.

The investments were part of a $50 million Series B funding round for ANYbotics, based in Switzerland.

Orrick advised lead investors NGP Capital and Walden Catalyst as well as Bessemer Venture Partners, one of several other participating investors.

The Impact

ANYbotics plans to use the investments to expand internationally, develop new capabilities and solidify its leading competitive position in robotic inspection solutions.

The investments come as demand for robotic solutions surge in heavy industries such as oil & gas, chemicals, power, mining, metals & minerals, and utilities. Faced with an aging workforce and labor shortages, these industries increasingly rely on innovative robotics solutions to streamline operations, reduce environmental impact and increase worker safety.

The Team

Orrick’s Shawn Atkinson, Rachel Conder and Stephen Tallon advised Bessemer Venture Partners. Thomas Schmid, Lina H Alami and Benedikt Migdal advised NGP Capital and Walden Catalyst.
