Orrick advised Africa50 on its equity investment into Scanning Systems, an Ivorian company specialized in the construction and operation of One-Stop Joint Border Posts (JBPs) in several countries of the West African Economic and Monetary Union (WAEMU).

Africa50 is an infrastructure investment platform created by African countries together with the African Development Bank to finance the development of infrastructure projects on the African continent.

Along with Tassec Investment Holdings Africa, Africa50 will bring its extensive experience in infrastructure development, management and financing to support the implementation of the company's projects and its expansion in the region.
