Orrick advised Luxembourg-based investor Luxempart as well as the other shareholders on the sale of Austrian education provider eduPRO Group to Invision, an investment company based in Switzerland and Germany as well as a subsequent re-investment by the management of eduPro Group.
Since 2015, Luxempart had been the majority shareholder of eduPRO Group, a leading Austrian-German education group active in adolescent and adult training programs. Since its initial investment, Luxempart and the other shareholders, in close collaboration with the management, have increased eduPRO’s market position in Austria and have pursued a geographical expansion through add-on acquisitions in Germany and Hungary.
Luxempart is an investment company listed on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange which has since 1988 invested in and managed a portfolio of investments in listed and non-listed companies primarily headquartered in Luxembourg, Belgium, France and Germany.
Luxempart was advised by an Orrick team led by Düsseldorf-based corporate partners Sven Greulich and Carsten Bernauer, who regularly advises on large-volume international corporate transactions, particularly in the tech sector.
