Version Française: Orrick conseille le consortium composé de RAZEL-BEC (groupe FAYAT) et d’Egis dans le cadre d’un PPP portant sur la construction et l’exploitation de postes de péages au Cameroun

Orrick is advising the consortium formed by RAZEL-BEC (FAYAT Group) and Egis in connection with a €230 Million public-private partnership (PPP) contract for the construction and operation of 14 toll roads on Cameroon's main axes.

This partnership represents a strategic challenge for the development of the country's infrastructure and will eventually provide Cameroon with modern and secure toll facilities on its roads network. The contract will be executed by the Cameroonian company TOLLCAM, jointly owned by the consortium, for a period of 20 years. The completion of the construction work is scheduled for 2022.

Orrick assisted the consortium throughout the process of drafting, negotiating and finalizing the concession contract with the Republic of Cameroon, represented by the Minister of Public Works and the Minister of Finance.

The completion of this transaction demonstrates the established expertise of Orrick's teams in infrastructures, especially the roads sector.

Orrick's Project & Infrastructure team was led by Yves Lepage (Partner) and included Geoffroy Berthon (Partner), Janina Dahmouh (Associate) and Charlotte Blanquinque.

The consortium was also advised locally by Amadagana & Partners with Lynda Amadagana (Partner).
