Orrick is honored to be recognized by the Financial Times 2015 North America Innovative Lawyers Report for our legal work in the P3 sector, for leadership in the veterans legal community, and for our partnership with Stanford University on legal process design.
Orrick is one of seven firms selected this year across all three categories of the report: legal expertise, social responsibility and business of law.

In the FT's report, it commends the firm's work led by energy & infrastructure partner Young Lee, on "guiding the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey through a complex, hybrid public-private partnership financing process for the renovation of New York’s LaGuardia Airport."
In the business of law category, Orrick's partnership with the Stanford Legal Design Initiative is highly commended for combining "engineering, design and the law for a novel way of delivering legal services." The Stanford Legal Design Initiative is a joint program of the University's law school, the engineering school and the d. school. to bring human-centered design to the practice of law.
The FT also recognizes Orrick's creation of the nation's first-ever Veterans Legal Career Fair within the social responsibility category and commended the firm for "helping veterans transition from military service to becoming lawyers in private practice." Orrick founded the career fair this year with co-sponsors Microsoft, Morgan Stanley, Shearman & Sterling, American Legion, ALM Media and DC Diverse Partners Network.
