Leah Sanzari Speaks at Inaugural Esoteric ABS Seminar in New York

Leah Sanzari, leader of Orrick's Esoteric ABS practice, will speak at the upcoming SCI Esoteric ABS Seminar, one of the first forums focused on the burgeoning esoteric and 4(a)(2) private placement market. Panelists will discuss trends and unique structures for a variety of new asset classes, including royalties and intellectual property, infrastructure and communications, and fund finance.

Leah will join other distinguished speakers on a panel focused on the complexities of PDP oil and gas securitizations. The panel will explore critical topics such as risk management in oil & gas exploration, addressing fluctuations in commodity prices, conducting thorough due diligence on various asset types and risk profiles, and navigating structural considerations, including security interests and advance rates.

Orrick's esoteric ABS practice was pivotal in advising the noteholders on the first-rated securitization of oil & gas non-operated wellbore interests issued by Raisa Energy. Since then, Orrick has continued representing ABS investors in all subsequent publicly announced transactions and is currently engaged in several upcoming energy securitizations.
