enVerid has developed an energy-saving solution using a patented air treatment and recycling system for Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems in commercial buildings. In order to keep CO2 levels low, commercial buildings need to replenish the air in the building several times per day. enVerid's solution takes technology originally used to maintain air quality in submarines and space stations and extends its application to commercial buildings. By cleaning and reusing existing air in the building, enVerid's differentiated solution significantly reduces the amount of air that needs to be cooled or heated, which in turn allows the building owner to reduce the HVAC capacity needed for the building. This enables businesses to reduce capital expenditure by an estimated 10 percent (on new system installations), save 20 to 40 percent annually on energy costs and obtain 20 percent of LEED points needed to qualify a building as LEED GOLD, all while increasing the quality of the air inside the building.
