Thomas Christian



Thomas is an Associate Attorney in Orrick's International Trade and Compliance Group.

Thomas provides regular advice to clients on Committee on Foreign Investments in the United States (CFIUS)/Exon-Florio examinations of foreign investment, trade practice disputes, including antidumping and countervailing duty proceedings, and trade compliance due diligence in corporate transactions.  Thomas also advises clients on the application of U.S. economic sanctions, export controls, and procurement regulations relating to international corporate business activities. 

Thomas’s background includes work supporting the Department of Defense's CFIUS Office on the monitoring and compliance of legal, national security based, mitigation agreements and he has prior substantive analytical work experience in the U.S. Intelligence Community.
