  • Law360 names Orrick as a 2025 Practice Group of the Year in both the Energy and Construction categories.
  • This marks the 11th time our Project Finance and Energy & Infrastructure teams have earned PGOY recognition, including in 2024.
  • Our energy sector work over the past year included advising Microsoft and Intersect on innovative energy transactions to power data centers, such as a novel nuclear power arrangement. Our Houston team acted for BP on the landmark sale of its U.S. onshore wind portfolio. In addition, our appellate litigators preserved NextDecade’s Rio Grande project that is expected to provide 6% of global LNG supply.
  • Our infrastructure team is pioneering financial innovation for New York’s most important infrastructure projects in transportation, transit, aviation, housing and higher education. These include structuring innovative contracts and procurements for projects such as the Hudson Tunnel Project (design-build and construction contracts), the Borough-Based Jails program (two-phase GMP design-build), Stony Brook University (Public-Private Partnerships) and the NYC Public Housing Preservation Trust (Progressive Design-Build). In addition, our team advised on the $3.4 billion private activity bonds issuance for Atlanta's SR 400 Express Lanes Project, a milestone in smart mobility infrastructure.
