Orrick advised a consortium of commercial and hedging banks on a €200 million warehouse financing deal that will enable Neoen to finance solar, onshore wind and energy storage projects across Europe.
Neoen is a Brookfield portfolio company and one of the world’s leading independent renewable energy producers.
This innovative transaction marks a significant step in Neoen’s European growth strategy. It provides Neoen with a flexible, scalable platform to finance a diversified portfolio of ready-to-build renewable energy assets (solar PV, onshore wind and battery storage) across six European countries: France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, and Sweden. The platform is designed to accommodate further assets, jurisdictions and financing.
