IJGlobal has selected Orrick as its Energy Legal Adviser of the Year at its 2021 North America awards, which recognize the top transactions across the energy and infrastructure sectors and the organizations that played central roles in the deals. Orrick is recognized for its work on more than 50 energy transactions in 2021, as well as several complex and innovative matters, including the first higher education green bond and the first joint 144a / 4(a)(2) upstream energy securitization.
In addition, the firm’s work on two transactions were recognized as Deals of the Year. The Fargo-Moorhead Metropolitan Area Flood Risk Management P3 was selected as Water Deal of the Year, and Fresno State’s Energy Infrastructure Modernization P3 was named Social Infrastructure Deal of the Year.
