Orrick Paris Team Hosted Two Fellows from Africa Infrastructure Fellowship Program

Version Française : Le bureau de Paris accueille deux fellows dans le cadre de l’initiative Africa Infrastructure Fellowship Program (« AIFP »).

We’re pleased to have hosted two participants from the Africa Infrastructure Fellowship Program (AIFP), Yvonne Agbemabiese and Abdelnasser Abdallah, for a three-week immersion with our Energy & Infrastructure team in Paris.

The AIFP is an initiative supported by the Global Infrastructure Hub, Meridiam, and the World Economic Forum to support the training of civil servants from various African countries who are working in the field of infrastructure. The AIFP is the first pan-African educational program dedicated to the development of infrastructure projects and public-private partnerships (PPPs), offering a unique combination of theoretical and practical training. Orrick has been involved with the AIFP since its inception through E&I partners Yves Lepage and Foucaud Jaulin.

During second edition of the program, 23 fellows followed a two-month training course in Paris, followed by an internship. Foucaud provided training on issues related to IPP projects and PPAs in Africa. During the weeks spent in our Paris office, our fellows also discovered our other practices focused on infrastructure, thanks to Olivier Jouffroy (M&A Private Equity), and Tunde Oyewole (International Arbitration).
