Orrick Advises Expanse on Acquisition by Palo Alto Networks


Orrick has advised San Francisco-based attack surface management platform Expanse on its definitive agreement to be acquired by Palo Alto Networks. The terms of the transaction includes approximately $800 million to be paid in cash and stock, subject to customary adjustments. The proposed acquisition is expected to close during Palo Alto Networks’ fiscal second quarter, subject to the satisfaction of regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions. Orrick has represented Expanse since 2015.
