Deutsch: Orrick berät Gesellschafter der Ziegler Gruppe bei Verkauf an Archer Daniels Midland (ADM)
Orrick advised the shareholders of flavor ingredients provider Ziegler Group on the bidding process and sale of the company to NYSE-listed Archer Daniels Midland Company (ADM).
Headquartered in Aufseß, Bavaria, Ziegler Group is a leading European supplier of natural ingredients for citrus flavors, especially those used in foods and beverages.
ADM is one of the largest processors of agricultural products and suppliers of food ingredients, with around 40,000 employees worldwide. The company focuses its business on products for the food, feed, industry and energy sectors.
The shareholders of Ziegler Group were advised by a Düsseldorf-based Orrick team led by M&A and private equity partner Konstantin Heitmann, who regularly advises on international corporate transactions, particularly those involving family businesses.
The team also included partners Stefan Schultes-Schnitzlein (tax), Till Steinvorth (antitrust) and Christian Schröder (data protection IT/IP), and associate Arne Fischer (M&A and private equity).
