Orrick has advised the Industrial Development Authority of the County of Pinal on the first renewable natural gas project financing in the U.S. capital markets. The firm served as bond and tax counsel to the Authority on a $61.4 million green bond issued to finance one of the world’s largest anaerobic digester facilities in Arizona. The project was recently named Green Project Bond of the Year by Environmental Finance. The Orrick team was led by Doug Goe and included Greg Blonde, Les Krusen, Rich Moore and Angie Gardner.
