Global Arbitration Review
April.12.2019

Global Arbitration Review (GAR) has once again named Orrick to its list of the world’s top 30 international arbitration practices worldwide. GAR took particular note of Orrick's wins in the tech and energy sectors.  This includes prevailing for Telenor in a dispute involving a Ukrainian telecoms venture, the firm’s successes on behalf of Guinea in ICSID, representation of mining companies in cases against Mauritania and Mali, and acting for investors in Energy Charter Treaty claims against Spain and Italy over reforms to the renewable energy sector. Orrick currently lists some 35 active international arbitration cases with a value in excess of $8.4 billion, and in recent months has secured a number of very significant awards for our clients.

The firm’s International Arbitration team is headed by Charles Adams in Geneva.  In the past 15 months, the firm has added James Hargrove in Geneva and Mark Beeley in London.
