Orrick’s Wendy Butler Curtis and Kate Orr have published an article in Corporate Counsel entitled "How to Leverage Task-Based Legal Work to Improve Value, Efficiency and Outcomes." The authors provide five steps corporate counsel and their outside counsel can take to disaggregate cases into tasks, determine their value and ensure the value is reasonable, justified and expected.
