Masao Fujino is a senior associate in Orrick's Tokyo office who focuses on intellectual property and antitrust law.
He is licensed in Japan, California and New York.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, he was an engineer in a Japanese software company. While he was a legal trainee after passing the Japanese bar examination, he studied at the Japanese space agency (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) and the intellectual property division of the Tokyo District Court. He also obtained a masters degree from Stanford Law School as a Fulbright scholar (US government scholarship).
