Peter advises renewable energy developers and investors on project development and financing matters.
Peter has extensive experience with the development and financing of renewable energy, solar plus storage, and stand-alone energy storage projects. This experience ranges from PPA, EPC, equipment supply, O&M, interconnection, and shared facilities agreements to tax equity, debt financing, and M&A. Peter also represents clients in developing and investing in community solar and C&I solar and solar plus storage projects.
Peter has worked on utility-scale and behind-the-meter energy storage projects with an aggregate capacity exceeding 1 GW / 4 GWhs. Notably, he represented the sponsor in the first non-recourse financing of a portfolio of behind-the-meter storage projects, the 2017 IJGlobal North America Energy Storage Deal of the Year.
While pursuing his J.D. from Stanford Law School, Peter also obtained an M.S. from Stanford’s School of Earth, Energy and Environmental Sciences. Prior to attending law school, Peter had a mini-career in health policy, working for several years as an analyst at the Congressional Budget Office and for Stanford’s Center for Health Policy.
