Katrina advises companies, private equity funds and management teams on acquisitions and disposals, fundraisings and general corporate transactions, with a focus on the technology, energy and life sciences sectors.

Katrina advises on a wide range of domestic and international corporate matters including M&A, private equity, growth capital, and buy-and-build strategies.

She has advised on the acquisition of a number of technology-focused businesses, as well as transactions in the energy and life sciences sectors. Katrina recently advised Vitruvian Partners on its investment in Twinkl as well as Azzurri Group on its investment in Boojum.

    • Advised Nexa3D, a U.S. based 3D printing company, on its acquisition of Addifab Aps.
    • Advised Pancreta Bank on its acquisition of HSBC’s operations in Greece.
    • Advised Qudini, a provider of appointment scheduling solutions, on its sale to Verint.
    • Advised LoopMe, a mobile advertising platform, on its investment by Mayfair Equity Partners.
    • Advised Phrasee, an AI-powered natural language generation platform, on its investment from Capital D Management LLP.
    • Advised Aurelius on the acquisition of McKesson UK, a provider of healthcare business services, including Lloyds Pharmacy and AAH Pharmaceuticals.
    • Advised Magnetar Capital on the sale of KIMS, the largest independent hospital in Kent, to LycaHealth.
    • Advised Marlin Equity Partners on its acquisition of Learning Pool, a market-leading eLearning company.
    • Advised Cairn Energy plc on its disposal of fields in the North Sea to Waldorf Production Limited.
    • Advised Mereo BioPharma Group plc, a biopharmaceutical company, in respect of its fundraisings, delisting from AIM, and commercial agreements.
    • Advised Generac Holdings Inc, a designer and manufacturer of power generation equipment, in respect of two UK acquisitions.
    • Advised The Halifax Group, a US-based mid-market private equity firm, in a carve-out from packaging business Sonoco to Halifax-backed Prairie Industries Holdings.
    • Advised Vitruvian Partners on its investment in Sykes Holiday Cottages, a holiday home provider.
    • Advised Sovereign Capital Partners in respect of UK acquisitions.
    • Advised PlusPetrol on its acquisition of AGIP Oil Ecuador from ENI International, to facilitate its entry into Ecuador.
    • Advised CBPE Capital on its acquisition of a majority stake in Perspective Financial Group Limited, a financial advisory aggregation business.
    • Advised The Halifax Group on the sale of the Pirtek Europe to PNC Riverarch Capital, a US-based private equity firm. Pirtek Europe is an on-site provider of hydraulic hose replacement and associated services across Europe.
    • Advised Woolrich International Limited, a leading manufacturer of outdoor lifestyle apparel, on the acquisition of a minority stake in the company by Goldwin Inc.
