Marcus is a Senior Associate in the London office and a member of the Complex Litigation & Dispute Resolution group, where he assists clients on English High Court litigations, often with a cross-border element, and international commercial arbitration matters.
Marcus is a Solicitor-Advocate and an experienced dispute resolution lawyer with more than a decade of experience assisting international corporate and institutional clients and emerging technology companies on a wide range of disputes in the English High Court as well as under the major international arbitration rules. Marcus advises clients on contentious matters across Orrick's key sectors in technology, energy & infrastructure and finance, and also has particular sector experience in aviation, telecoms and commodities. Marcus also acts for Big 4 financial services clients in connection regulatory investigations, enforcement actions and litigations.
Marcus is recognised in Legal 500 as a recommended individual for commercial litigation (2021-2024) and international arbitration (2019-2020).

- Successfully defending a multi-billion dollar claim in an ICC arbitration involving allegations of conspiracy and breaches of joint venture agreement for the construction and operation of a export terminal in CIS jurisdiction.
- Acting in relation to Hague Evidence Convention applications in the High Court in connection with U.S. litigations.
- Acting for financial services client in connection with regulatory investigation and associated multi-million pound litigation (non-UK jurisdiction).
- Acting for claimant engineering company in the aviation sector in relation to a multi-million pound claim.
- Advising on insurance matters relating to multi-jurisdictional antitrust litigation proceedings.
- Advising on breach of warranty and indemnity claims, including involving allegations of fraud in non-UK jurisdiction, in the telecom sector.
- Advising in relation to LCIA arbitration involving contractual dispute in the energy sector.
- Acting for financial services client in High Court litigation involving allegations of professional negligence and fraud by senior management of audit entity.

- Successfully defending multi-billion pound claim in an LCIA arbitration in the fund management sector.
- Acting for unicorn fintech company and its founder in relation to a High Court shareholders litigation.
