Haley Tynes focuses her practice on antitrust litigation, merger clearance, government investigations, and antitrust counseling. She is an associate in Orrick's Washington, D.C., office and a member of the firm's Antitrust & Competition practice group.  

Haley’s practice involves defending clients in antitrust litigation, advocacy before federal and state antitrust enforcers, and developing and advising on strategy in connection with investigations, litigation and merger clearance. Haley has counseled clients on the potential antitrust implications of business activities and has represented clients in matters before the Department of Justice, Federal Trade Commission and State Attorneys General. Haley currently represents non-parties in United States of America, et al. v. Google, State of Colorado, et al. v. Google, Federal Trade Commission v. Facebook and State of New York, et al. v. Facebook

While in law school, Haley interned at both the U.S. Attorney’s Office and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York. She also served as an Associate Research Editor for the Journal of Law and Policy, was member of the Moot Court Honor Society, and was an International Business Law Fellow at the Dennis J. Block Center for the Study of International Business Law. Prior to attending law school, Haley worked as a geoscientist at an environmental consulting firm.
