Apollo Funds Launch $220 Million Community Solar Joint Venture with Bullrock Energy Ventures

Funds managed by Apollo (the “Apollo Funds”) have committed up to $220 million to a new joint venture with Bullrock to develop a community solar portfolio across New York and New England.

THE IMPACT

$100 million of Apollo’s equity commitment will fund the development of Bullrock's nearly 500 MW pipeline of renewable energy assets. The joint venture aims to expand local access to clean, efficient power, benefiting individuals, households and businesses across New York and New England. The partnership underscores Apollo's dedication to supporting the energy transition by investing in projects that meet the growing demand for diverse power sources and enhance grid resilience.
