Congratulations to Laura Najemy, Annie Prasad Vadillo and Ron Williams on being selected for the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity’s (LCLD) 2024 programs.

  • Laura will participate in LCLD’s Fellows Program, a landmark initiative to train and advance the next generation of leaders in the legal profession. Co-chair of the Boston Bar Association’s IP Litigation section, Laura focuses on trademark, copyright, trade secret, false advertising and design patent disputes in the tech and consumer products spaces.

She joins six other Orrick partners who have participated as LCLD Fellows, including Giji John, Jennifer Lee, Daniel Lopez, Rohit Sachdev, Caroline Simons and Will Stute.

  • Annie and Ron will participate in LCLD’s Pathfinders Program, which helps rising stars develop leadership skills and build professional networks. Annie is a member of the Orrick team that counsels on high-stakes employment matters, including gig economy and independent contractor classification issues, workplace best practices and policies, government audits and internal employee complaints. Ron is a member of our team that defends financial institutions before federal and state regulators and represents companies in class actions and complex commercial disputes in federal and state courts. He also maintains an active pro bono practice focused on criminal justice reform.

LCLD is a growing organization of more than 400 corporate CLOs and law firm leaders working to build a more inclusive legal profession. Orrick Chair Mitch Zuklie is a member of LCLD’s Board.
