Orrick advised a consortium of four partners – affiliates of WGL Midstream, EIF Vega Midstream, Cabot Oil & Gas Corp and Vega Energy – in the joint sale of their respective interests in Meade Pipeline Co LLC to an affiliate of NextEra Energy Partners. Meade Pipeline owns a 39.2% interest in the Central Penn Line, a 185-mile natural gas pipeline that stretches through Pennsylvania and supplies natural gas to the mid-Atlantic and Southeastern regions of the U.S. This transaction is expected to close during the fourth quarter of 2019.
