Congratulations to our partner Marc Bauer on being named to The Bond Buyer's 2019 Rising Stars list, which highlights leading municipal finance professionals under the age of 40.
Based in Los Angeles, Marc specializes in charter school, university and utility revenue bonds. He works closely with the California School Finance Authority and advised on its issuance of the first Qualified School Construction Bonds in California for a charter school. He also serves as lead bond counsel to the California Educational Facilities Authority and works with the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power on its bond sales.
In addition to his public finance work, The Bond Buyer highlighted Marc’s pro bono work with VoteRiders, a nonpartisan nonprofit that works nationally to help eligible voters obtain voter IDs. Marc coordinated more than a dozen lawyers in the creation of Voter Identification Guides for each state and now sits on the Board of Trustees for the organization.
