Christopher Grimm, Senior Strategist in the Washington, D.C., office, uses his diverse experience in government relations and public affairs to help develop, manage and implement complex, multistate public policy campaigns on behalf of our clients. 

Since joining Orrick, Chris coordinated government affairs and public relations efforts on behalf of leading fantasy sports providers FanDuel and DraftKings in 11 states, including Virginia, the first state in the nation to pass comprehensive legislation confirming the legality of fantasy sports and creating consumer protection regulations.  

Prior to joining Orrick, Chris was the President of DC Impact Group, an independent public affairs and government relations firm where he provided strategic counsel, legislative tracking and public relations support to clients in the healthcare and technology sectors. Chris  also served as the Executive Director of Fan Freedom, a national advocacy group that protects the rights of live entertainment and sports fans where he served as the organization’s chief spokesperson and oversaw a national campaign grassroots, grasstops and media campaign. Prior to Fan Freedom, Grimm was an Account Supervisor with Washington DC strategic communications firm Powell Tate.
