Devin Canavan, an associate in the Washington, D.C. office, is a member of the Energy and Infrastructure Group.

His practice focuses on the representation of sponsors, issuers, project developers, lenders, investors and governmental entities in project financings, infrastructure projects in the public-private partnership sector (PPP) and securities offerings.

    • Represented sponsor in connection with a tax equity financing of a 150 MW wind farm in Kansas.
    • Represented TerraForm Power, LLC and SunEdison, Inc. in the purchase of seven contracted wind farms (total 930 MW) located in the U.S. and Canada, from Invenergy Wind LLC, the largest independent wind owner in the U.S.
    • Represented the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey in connection with the privatization of Terminal B, the main LaGuardia Airport terminal, and the related infrastructure.
    • Represented the Purple Line Transit Partners consortium as sponsors' counsel, consisting of Meridiam Infrastructure, Fluor Enterprises, Inc. and Star America Fund, which has been selected by MDOT to design, build, finance, operate and maintain the Purple Line light rail project in Maryland.
    • Represented MEAG Power in regards to several bond issues.
