Valerie Goo, a partner in the Los Angeles office, is a member of the Complex Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group. She is a trial lawyer with a focus on intellectual property and complex commercial litigation.
Valerie has had significant litigation experience in general business and complex commercial litigation, including fraud, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty and class action matters. She also has considerable experience in intellectual property litigation, including trademark, copyright, right of publicity, trade secret and patent infringement litigation. In addition, Valerie represents clients in cases involving employment discrimination, wrongful termination, corporate raiding and employee trade secret theft. She has conducted more than 10 jury and bench trials in federal and state courts as first or second chair, as well as numerous arbitrations.
Valerie has state and federal appellate experience, including oral argument before the Ninth Circuit, and also has experience in trademark prosecution and enforcement.
