Orrick congratulates Lynne Hermle, Andrew Livingston and Tim Long on their inclusion on the Daily Journal’s Top Employment Lawyers list for 2013. This annual list recognizes lawyers for achieving victories in important cases and distinguishing themselves as leaders in the labor and employment practice areas.
Named to the list for the past three years, Ms. Hermle was cited by the Daily Journal for achieving a complete and unanimous defense verdict for Genentech in a jury trial involving disability discrimination and related claims, and wage-and-hour class action victories for Sears and Morgan Stanley.
Recognized for the second time in three years, Mr. Livingston was highlighted for representing Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in a complex contract and discrimination case arising from a layoff of employees and for multiple cases for Sephora USA involving wage-and-hour and discrimination matters.
Two major victories on behalf of CVS earned Mr. Long a place on the list. He also successfully defended Health Net in a wage-and-hour matter, defeated class action certification and achieved a favorable settlement.
