Orrick’s associates voted us a top 5 Best Law Firm to Work For and a top 5 Summer Program in the Vault 2018 Law Firm Associate Survey. They rate the firm Top 10 across all 5 of Vault’s metrics related to Diversity and Inclusion.
In addition, across 16 of the 17 quality of life metrics Vault measures, Orrick ranks in the Top 10 nationally. This includes categories such as firm culture, partner/associate relations, formal and informal training and mentoring, pro bono and transparency, among others.
“The Vault rankings are incredibly important to us. These results tell us we’re making progress toward our goal of being the best at attracting, retaining, and hopefully, inspiring the highest quality talent,” said Orrick Chairman Mitch Zuklie. “We believe that innovating on talent is going to be absolutely critical to long-term success in the law firm market.”
“Over the past year, we’ve being focused on three areas that are important to associates: ensuring they have meaningful responsibility early in their careers, enhancing our training and mentoring programs; and being a leader on Agile Working options that give associates flexibility in when and how they work,” said Siobhan Handley, Orrick’s Chief Talent Officer. “The Vault results affirm that we are innovating in ways that are making a difference for our associates, and we are grateful for their feedback.”
Earlier this year, Fortune named Orrick one of the top 100 Best Companies to Work For the second time, and named us the only law firm on the Fortune 100 Best Workplaces for Millennials list.
